Description: Appalachia is oftentimes depicted as a region perpetually struggling with poverty. Christian Appalachian Project has been doing the work for six decades to build hope, transform lives, and share Christ’s love through service. There are many reasons why poverty still grips the region, and the goal of this short film and discussion is to help people see the region through a different lens.
